Dr. Ron Walker – Into the Lord’s Care

Dr. Ron Walker – Into the Lord’s Care

Ron was an encourager of all things good. He loved Jesus and the local church. His impact went beyond our local community and impacted the lives of many in the Muskingum Valley Presbytery and beyond.

Tom Roepke – Lead Pastor ~ Linden Road Presbyterian

In Ron Walker, I saw a man who truly had a servant’s heart! He taught me many lessons in the short period of time I have been with the Presbytery. The biggest lesson was Love the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul, and love others. He will be missed!!

Bev potts – Administrative Assistant ~ MUskingum Valley

Ron was and will continue to be a great and positive influence on my journey.   He was so kind.  He truly made each of us feel that we belonged.     I loved taking to him about the Pirates and Steelers.

Wes jones – CRE ~ The Presbyterian Churches of Old Washington & Senecaville

We loved Ron like a brother, or a wise uncle.

Rev. bob meyers ~ Wayne Presbyterian Church

I join everyone in celebrating Ron’s life well lived. Each interaction I had with him reflected his love for God and others. His gift of encouragement inspired and empowered many. Our presbytery is better for his many contributions, often behind the scenes.I will miss him.

Edith ophardt ~ Christ Presbyterian Church

Ron was a good man, a supportive and encouraging brother. I am thankful he was a partner with us.

Jim McCurdy ~ Alliance 1st Presbyterian church

I always enjoyed Ron’s presence and wisdom and especially his conversation. One of the things I love most about MVP was the camaraderie of all of the pastors and Ron was one of the pastors who embodied and showed that to me so wonderfully.
